It is a thrift deposit scheme where members can deposit a pre-defined amount at monthly intervals for a pre-defined period and on expiry of the term, the total amount will be paid with interest at quarterly compounding interest rate
Minimum monthly deposit -Rs.500/-
Maximum monthly deposit-un limited
Interest rates as applicable to fixed deposit rates on quarterly compounding basis
No interest shall be paid for pre-mature closure before 1 year
In case of pre-mature closure, 0.50 % penalty on the interest applicable for the period
Loan facility up to 90% of the principal and accrued interest amount at the time of obtaining the loan.
Nomination facility available
Maturity amount exceeding Rs. 20,000/- will not be paid in cash
Penal charges for non-deposit of monthly instalments @ Rs. 2.00 per Rs. 100/- per month.
No TDS. PAN copy/Form 60/ Form 15 G/ Form 15 H will be obtained
